The Role
Sr. Financial Analyst
VUUDL Media Group is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team. As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and drive business performance. This role requires a combination of strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and business partnership abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead financial planning and forecasting processes, including annual budgeting, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop accurate and insightful financial projections.
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, variance analyses, and key performance metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior management and business leaders.
Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to evaluate business initiatives, investment opportunities, and strategic decisions, assessing potential risks and opportunities to drive profitability and growth.
Basic Qualifications
Sr. Financial Analyst
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or related roles, preferably within the media, ecommerce, or technology industry.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and quantitative analysis techniques.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling software.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex financial concepts into clear and actionable insights.
Nice To Have
Sr. Financial Analyst
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation.
Experience with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and business intelligence tools.
Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and financial reporting standards.
